Typically held as an annual conference in Cupertino, the Final Cut Pro Summit is going on the road to 10 different cities across the globe. This training event is an opportunity for local Final Cut Pro users to learn more about the Apple ecosystem.
The FCP Summit World Tour features a full-day program that includes interactive learning, panel discussions, case studies, and Certification Prep courses. Sessions will cover topics including mobile filmography, video editing, color correction, and motion graphics.
To foster community growth, there will be an open Q&A session with local Final Cut Pro users in each city. This unique opportunity is a chance to get an inside look at recommended workflows from leading industry professionals on an international level.
The FCP Summit World Tour celebrates the debut of Final Cut Pro Training and Certifications, exclusively developed by Apple and FMC.
“The new Apple Pro Apps Training and Certifications is an exciting initiative by Apple and FMC to support the creative community to maximize their technical and creative skills on Apple’s Pro Apps,” says Ben Kozuch, President, and co-founder of FMC. “We are pleased and excited to meet the local community in 10 cities around the globe.”
The Final Cut Pro Certification Exams allow users of varying skill levels to prove their knowledge and earn an industry-recognized credential. There are three exams available to showcase expertise in producing content for social media, online video, and extensive video production knowledge for film, television, and advertising industries.
Created by Certified Apple Instructors, the three levels of Certification Exams cover everything from video editing basics to advanced color correction – and important post-production concepts. The exams are ideal for students and professionals looking to add to their skill sets and build up their portfolios.
“The roadshow and exams bundled together provide the perfect combination,” says Nick Harauz, the program manager for the FCP Summit World Tour. “Final Cut users will walk away with a wealth of information, test their knowledge to further build your resume all while meeting other video professionals at one of 10 locations around the world.”
All Final Cut Pro certification exams will also be localized in 5 different languages including German, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and French, allowing creators across the globe to become certified Final Cut Pro users.
