Future Media Conferences, in collaboration with Justine Ezarik (iJustine) and supported by Apple, announces Vlog University on Los Angeles, CA, January 31st - February 1st, 2020
New York – August 23, 2019 - Future Media Conferences, in collaboration with Justine Ezarik, known as iJustine, announces the launch of the first Vlog University with iJustine Conference, in Los Angeles, California. The two-day training conference consists of cutting-edge sessions and panel discussions surrounding the latest practices of online media and content creation and the establishment of successful and profitable channels.
The conference is designed to provide professional training for those interested in building an online channel or to enhance existing channels. Training sessions at Vlog University with iJustine will cover a variety of video production sessions as well as marketing and business workshops.
The production sessions will provide the ideal training for creating compelling and engaging video. Topics cover everything from writing scripts to producing on a tight schedule, to the in-depth detail of setting up your studio (choosing the right workstations, editing software, camera, and lighting). Other training sessions will discuss hand-held mobile production using iPhones and how to use professional editing software such as Final Cut Pro. The marketing workshops will focus on how to create followers to your channels and the business workshops will teach best practices for monetization of your channel for financial success.
We are pleased to feature Justine Ezarik, known online as iJustine, one of the world’s leading Producers and Digital Influencers at the core of our program. Justine is one of the top online personalities, amassing a global audience of over 11M, creating videos about tech, travel, and lifestyle. She is a popular brand ambassador for some of the leading technology companies amongst other blue chip brands. Justine will teach the marketing workshops with how-to tips and techniques on aggregating followers and building a successful online channel. Justine, along with her colleagues, prime influencers of many subjects, will run intriguing panels and workshops that are must-attend. Along with her business team, she will teach workshops on how to monetize a successful channel with 10,000 or 1 million followers, as well as how to navigate the world of branded content, including what to look out for when signing agreements, and what are the ‘gotchas’ on the business side of this field.
“When I began creating content over 13 years ago, this space didn’t exist; I’m so happy that I get to share my experience and knowledge with the world and to help the next generation of creative and intuitive Creators build a business around their passions as I have. This is going to be such an exciting convention for both the Creators and the curious -- everyone can get something out of this!” – Justine Ezarik (iJustine)
The event kicks off on Friday, January 31st, at 9:00AM with check-in and welcome remarks at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Welcome remarks will be given by Justine Ezarik (iJustine) followed by various training sessions led by expert speakers. Day one of the conference will teach the best practices and tips to apply to your next project, how to produce more effectively and efficiently, and how to achieve the most visually attractive results.
Join us at our evening panel discussion where Justine will lead a panel to discuss Mental Health and Creator Burnout in the industry.
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with other attendees and conference speakers during that evening’s Expo event, and to meet exhibitors showcasing products and services that can enhance their editing workflows.
Saturday, February 1st, the second day of the conference will include the track “iCreate with iJustine,” with Justine, with various sessions throughout the day on audience creation, development, and brand marketing. Simultaneously, there will be 2 breakout rooms that will be structured as power sessions; consisting of 20-minute sessions featuring a wide variety of speakers discussing content creation, marketing tips, and the business aspects of online media creation.
“This conference is designed as a one-stop opportunity to learn the A to Z of succeeding online. We are pleased to have gathered the industry’s most leading experts to provide cutting-edge, practical training to the next generation.” – said Ben Kozuch, President and Co-Founder of Future Media Conferences, Executive Producer of Vlog University with iJustine.
