Offering professional on-site VFX and finishing sessions for busy editors
NEW YORK, NY (September 20, 2018) – Film and television editors looking to expand their knowledge of Boris FX’s award-winning creative visual effects plug-ins now have a new training option. Boris FX, the post-production industry’s leading plug-in developer, has partnered with renowned digital media training facility, Future Media Concepts (FMC), as the exclusive authorized onsite educational partner in the United States.
Headquartered in New York with additional training facilities located in all the major U.S. film, advertising, and television hubs, FMC will offer editors 2-day in-person training courses on flagship products, Sapphire, Continuum, and Mocha Pro. The courses provide editors with a hands-on comprehensive understanding of Boris FX plug-ins and how to easily and quickly apply effects that add high-end production value to projects. Topics include working with transitions, adding titles and graphics, keying and compositing, masking and tracking, creating highly-stylized effects, restoring imperfect footage, and advanced compositing techniques. Courses will be held for Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects and Premiere Pro) and Avid Media Composer workflows.
“FMC’s distinguished training programs for editors, VFX artists, and motion graphics designers, in addition to its voice on a national stage as the producers of the educational conferences at NAB Show and Adobe Video World, make it a perfect fit for the caliber of training Boris FX customers need and expect,” says Boris Yamnitsky, President and Founder, Boris FX. “We’re excited to give editors new to Boris FX products and existing customers looking to expand their skills the opportunity to learn from the best trainers available. The mix of in-person training paired with streaming options for satellite locations will allow enterprise customers with offices from coast to coast the opportunity to conveniently train entire teams simultaneously.”
“We are pleased to have been selected by Boris FX as their exclusive training partner to offer this high-end training, and look forward to continuing to providing quality, consistent and accessible training nationwide and in Canada,” remarks FMC Training President and Co-Founder, Jeff Rothberg.
