Future Media Concepts (FMC) Introduces AppleCare Technician Training
FMC is one of the few selected companies nationwide authorized to offer training and certification courses that enable technicians to troubleshoot and repair Apple Mac or iOS devices
New York – February 21, 2017 — Future Media Concepts (FMC), the leading authorized digital media training organization in the U.S., announced today a series of new authorized courses that will enable AppleCare Technicians to troubleshoot and repair Apple Mac or iOS devices. April classes are forming now.

The course load includes a series of five courses divided into two certification paths: Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) and Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT). Students will begin with the two-day Apple Service Fundamentals course, which provides the skills and backing to engage in face-to-face customer interactions and manage minor troubleshooting. Following the completion of this prerequisite, students may then choose either certification track, based on focus: ACiT or ACMT.
Professionals interested in ACiT will follow with a three-day course equipping them with the knowledge to troubleshoot and repair iPhone, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Those interested in ACMT will continue their training with a six-day course which enables students to become certified to troubleshoot and repair Mac computers.
The courses will walk students through real-world scenarios, class discussions and hands-on exercises. Following completion of either course track—ACiT or ACMT—students can sign up to take the certification exam and become industry certified. The certification will ensure credibility to be employed as a technician at an Apple-authorized service facility.
