Future Media Concepts Announces Apple® Bootcamp May 14-23 in Orlando
All-Inclusive, Hands-On Training Conference Offers Apple Courses, Certification, Networking, and Q&A With Industry Experts
New York, NY – Mar. 27, 2012 - Future Media Concepts (FMC), the nation's premier digital media training organization, today announced its second Apple® Bootcamp, a comprehensive training event at which Apple users can take certified courses in multiple programs on multiple levels — and become certified — all in one location at one time. The training conference will take place May 14-23 at FMC's newly upgraded training center in Orlando. FMC has a Gold Level training designation from Apple and is the only training center to offer Apple Bootcamp.
The hands-on training event combines instruction and practice in a range of Apple programs and techniques including Mac OS® X Lion, and both Final Cut Pro® 7 and Final Cut Pro X. In addition, FMC customized courses in iOS application development as well as iPad support and publishing are available. Taught by FMC's world-renowned team of Apple-certified instructors, the courses provide thorough, step-by-step training from the ground up, and multifaceted users can get trained in more than one program during the event. Also, clients seeking to become Apple Certified Professionals have the option of taking the exam on site. No additional payment is required to take the exam and FMC does not guarantee passing the exam.
"At Apple Bootcamp, participants can immerse themselves in all things Apple and gain an edge in today's competitive, ever-changing job market," said Ben Kozuch, president and co-founder, FMC Conferences. "Although the courses are designed to train people to use the software and are not geared specifically toward certification, our top-notch training will significantly increase their chances of passing the Apple certification exam. Students can take the exam right there on site and get their results immediately."
Besides back-to-back, multilevel training and certification opportunities, Apple Bootcamp will also feature keynote addresses, "Stump the Expert" Q&A sessions, and plenty of chances to network with peers.
Cost of registration for this all-inclusive training conference is about the same as one would pay to take a single class at one of FMC's training centers. Registration covers tuition, courseware, certification exam fees, airfare (up to $300), hotel accommodations, meals, keynote and "Stump the Expert" sessions, and evening networking events. Furthermore, with some restrictions, students may retake the courses and exams at no cost.
