iPad Support & Deployment
Note: This custom-designed class is created and owned by Future Media Concepts. It is not sponsored or authorized by Apple Inc.Course Description
iPad Support & Deployment is a two-day course for iPad users who support iOS mobile devices. Students will learn how to deploy and maintain iOS-based devices and provisions for in-house developed apps. Students will learn how to use different methods for creating and deploying iOS Configuration Profiles, supporting large numbers of devices, and how to set up and maintain a Mac Lion server for overseeing the whole process. Instructors will also demonstrate and discuss other iPad Apps for assisting in day-to-day IT tasks.
Who Should Attend
iPad Support & Deployment is designed for IT professionals, managers and system administrators who use the iPad on a daily basis in their professional environment or who implement and maintain iOS-based devices in their organizations. Or anyone who uses an iPad professionally and wants to set up their skills and become an iPad "power user".
Prerequisites
Students who attend iPad Support Essentials should have a working knowledge of the iPad. An iPad will be provided to the student for the duration of the class.
For students new to iPads who wish to read up and prepare prior to class, FMC recommends iPad Portable Genius by Paul McFedries.
